Looking at the by one of my mentors Michael Hyatt, we see that Key #4 is: Focus and Execute on your Highest Priorities

If I were to ask you what you are focusing on right now, would you give me a list of your top 1-3, or would you give me a list of about 20? Before I learned this simple way to prioritize, I would have given you a list of 30!

When you have too many things to get done, you feel OVERWHELMED. Your life starts to feel like the hamster wheel, always running, but not getting anywhere. You go to bed defeated….and wake up overwhelmed all over again.

Stop playing a game you can’t win!

Reinvent the game completely by using the 3×3 Achievement System!

This was a game changer for me. Here’s how it works:

  1. Identify your Big 3 Goals for the Quarter
  2. Identify your Big 3 Objectives for the Week
  3. Identify your Daily Big 3 Tasks

Focus on your Daily Big 3, because not all tasks are created equal. If you’ve got a “to-do” list of 20 things, what are the 3 things that NEED to happy TODAY to move your business towards it’s weekly and quarterly goals?

Identify the 3 things you need to do TODAY, get those done, and you can call the day a win! No more hamster wheel! You are consistently getting the few big things done each day, which will make for a productive week, which will move you closer to your bigger goals!!

This is how goal-setting is accomplished! On a daily basis, with small, consistent wins!

Spend some time setting up your day/week/quarter using the 3×3 system and start moving closer to achieving your goals!
